Alice Faye Benjamin Thompson

Alice Faye Benjamin-Thompson was born January 15, 1948, in Galveston,TX.
To the late William Houston and Ophelia Rice Benjamin.

Alice, known to most by "Faye" , attended school in Galveston where she was a
proud graduate of Central High School Class of 1966. She was employed by the
University of Texas Medical Branch where she retired after 32 years of service.
She loved her job as she returned for an additional 5 years before her health
began to fail.

Faye had a quiet demeanor, but always willing to be a part of her class events. Have
family gatherings and going to her family reunions just so she could come back and
show everyone her family reunion shirt.

Faye entered into eternal rest on Tuesday Sept.5,2023 at the place she loves working
at UTMB. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Lena Woodard,
Rosalind Wilkins, Edward Benjamin SR. and Doris Johnson. Her daughter Tammie Marie
Thompson, son-in-law William Sims III and her great grandson Ayden Thompson.

She leaves to cherish the memories of her life. Her children: son Clement Thompson (Tressia)
of Katy, TX., daughter Christina Thompson-Sims of Texas City,TX., 12 grandchildren, 12 great-
grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
