Anna Louise Ward

Anna Louise Ward was born on Tuesday, May 9, 1965, in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of Lois F. Green and Earnest Bernett. Anna was called home to glory on Wednesday morning October 23, 2024.

Anna graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1983.

On October 31, 1994, God blessed Anna with the love of her life, her son Darien J. Russell. Anna loved God, her son (Darien J. Russell), her mother (Lois F. Green) so dearly that she would cry expressing her love for them.

Anna was full of life. She was a loving and caring person and was often described as a loving and caring mother. She had a beautiful smile, was a very jolly person who was sure to have everyone laughing.

Anna was preceded in death by her grandparents Carl E. Ward and Carrie B. Ward; aunts Carole L. Ward and Marylin E. Ward; cousins Eric A. Ward, Denicesa S. Ward, and Gregory L. Ward.

Anna leaves to cherish her loving memory, her son: Darien J. Russell, her mother: Lois F. Green, her siblings: John (Dewanna) Ward, Helena (Grederick) Simpson, Carlos (Nikole) Ward, and Regina Green, her uncle: Johnny Ward; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
