Bertha Mae Joseph

Bertha Mae Wagner Joseph, 58, departed this side of Heaven on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, TX.
Bertha is preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Gage-Wagner; her father Wilton Wagner, Sr. and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Bertha was a faithful member of The Carpenter House and was a prayerful person who loved the Lord and believed in the power of prayer.
Bertha leaves to cherish her memory: most dutiful daughter, Shalin Joseph (Trevor); son, Desmond Wagner; sister, Renee Hamilton-Lionel of Jeanerette, LA; brother, Wilton Wagner, Jr. and grandson, Trevor, Jr.
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of her Life at 11:00 a.m. Both services will take place at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 227 4th Avenue North Texas City, TX 77590. All memorials can be sent to Bay Area Funeral Directors at 5410 FM 1765 (off of Highway 3) Texas City, TX 77590.
