Deavon JaMale Tryals Obituary (1990 - 2021)

Deavon JaMale Tryals, 30, passed February 16, 2021 at HCA Houston Healthcare - Mainland Hospital at 5:30 p.m. Deavon was born in Galveston, Texas to Micheal A. Tryals and Dana Woodkins-Allums. He attended schools in the Texas City Independent School District and was a proud member of the Texas City High School graduating class of 2011. Deavon worked in the Maintenance department at the TCISD but during his spare time, he played video games and dabbled on the computer. Deavon was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack Woodkins, Sr., Harvey D. Tryals, Gloria Woodkins-Armstrong and Raynell Tryals and his aunts, Yolanda Woodkins-Cooper and Janice Ford. Deavon is survived by: his daughter, Delayla Turks Tryals; his father, Micheal A. Tryals; his mother, Dana Woodkins-Allums; his brothers, Dezrick R. Swan, Sr., Joey Tryals, Chadrick Tryals and Michael Harris; his sisters, Dinashia D. Woodkins and Natally Tryals and his uncles, Bobby Burns and Jack Woodkins. Funeral services for Deavon will take place on Monday, March 1, 2021. A public visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by the celebration of his life at 11:00 a.m. Both events will be held at the chapel of Bay Area Funeral Directors located at 5410 FM 1765 (facing Highway 3) in Texas City, Texas 77591. 409-933-4300. Interment will proceed after the celebration at Rising Star Cemetery located on Albert Street in La Marque, Texas 77568. All memorials may be sent to the funeral home.
