Dyas Whitaker, Jr. Obituary (1980 - 2017)

Dyas Whitaker, Jr, of Texas City, TX passed away at Mainland Medical Center Tuesday, July 25, 2017. He was born, August 25, 1980 to Bobbie Johnson Whitaker and Dyas Whitaker, Sr. and attended school in LMISD. He is preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Ida and Lewis Johnson and Huella and Lonnie Whitaker, Sr. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Bobbie J Whitaker; siblings, Lance Mc Neil, Diane Winston, Alfreda Reese, Dyas Evans, Lyas Whitaker and Dyara Whitaker; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends. A Public Visitation will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 9:00 AM followed by A Service to Celebrate His Life at 10:00 AM. Both Services will be held at Westward Street Church of Christ 302 North Westward Street, Texas City, TX 77591. Burial Will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Galveston, TX. The family will fellowship with Guest at the New Church Location following the Burial Ceremony. Memorials may be sent to the Funeral Home.
