Gavin Manuel

Gavin Drake Manuel, 25, gained his wings on January 6, 2025. He was born in Baytown, TX and resided in Mont Belvieu, TX. He was the beloved son of Douglas Manuel, Lacie Moulton, and her husband Chad.

Gavin will be forever remembered for his unwavering love and support for his family and friends, his infectious laughter, positive outlook, and those unforgettable dance moves. He had a heart full of compassion and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

An old soul at heart, Gavin had a special fondness for The Golden Girls, classic country music, and cherished watching movies with his nana, even if he occasionally made her go to ones she wasn’t interested in. He was a loyal friend, finding joy in the camaraderie of hanging out with those he cared about.

One of Gavin’s greatest joys was being “Uncle Bubba” to his nephew, Waylon. Gavin’s kindness, humor, and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone he met, and though he is gone, his presence will be felt forever. He will be deeply missed.

Gavin is preceded in death by his grandparents: Alfred Manuel, Terry Parker, and Kelley Moulton. He is survived by his father, Douglas Manuel; mother, Lacie Moulton and husband Chad; sisters, Bailey Manuel, Madison Jones and husband Kaden; nephew Waylon Parker; grandparents, Diane Manuel, Sheila Mouton and husband Tim, George McBride, and George Moulton, along with numerous other family and friends.
