George Raymond Williams, Jr. Obituary (2017)

George (Slow) Raymond Williams, Jr. of Hitchcock, TX passed away after a brief illness. He was born in Galveston, TX to Delores Matthews Williams and George Raymond Williams, Sr. He is a graduate of Ball High School. Upon graduation, he joined the military serving his country in the US Army and the US Air Force being honorably discharged from both entities. He is survived by his parents; siblings, Yolanda Williams, Rhonda Williams, Laureen Holmes, Demetria Pope, Chrystal Bruce (Jamar), Chris Comier (Cecilia), Ron Freeman and Gwendolyn Freeman (deceased). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. A Service to Celebrate His Life will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Galilee Baptist Church 6609 Fairwood Rd Hitchcock, TX 77563. The family will receive guests in the Fellowship Hall following the services. Services will be conducted by Bay Area Funeral Directors 5410 FM 1765 Texas City, TX 77591. Memorials may be sent to the Funeral Home.
