Juan Munoz Jr

Juan I Munoz Jr., 72, passed away January 11th in the presence of his loving family at his home in La Marque, Texas.

Born in Chicago Illinois, he was the son of Juan and Maria Munoz.

He loved talking and spending time with family, cherished his grandkids, adored his cat Georgina, and enjoyed watching wrestling and following current events closely. He was a true people person whose warmth could instantly fill a room. With his jokes and witty comments, he brought smiles wherever he went. He had a rare gift for connecting with others, able to strike up a conversation with anyone- even a stranger- and make them feel like a friend he had known for a lifetime.

He is survived by his loving children Juan, Gilbert, Irene, Agustin, Jessica, and Ruben; along with their spouses and children, who will forever cherish his memory.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Bay Area Funeral Directors, located at 5410 Texas Avenue in Texas City, Texas. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a viewing beginning at 4:00 p.m., leading into the service, as we come together to remember and celebrate his life.
