Justice James Rodgers

–

League City, TX

Justice James Rodgers was born on November 21, 1999 to David H. Rodgers and Ashley L. Strader in Nassau Bay, Texas. Justice had the kindest heart. He was very protective of his family and friends for he loved them very much. He put much emphasis into karate and had his green belt by age 8. At age 9, he transitioned to Boy Scouts where he developed an interest in building things with his hands like his dad. As a young child, he loved any sport with a ball, which he carried over to football where his 8th grade team was in the State Championship. He was very passionate about music and played the trombone for three years while attending Clear Creek Intermediate. Justice enjoyed providing for his family and spending time with his closest friends and family more than anything.
In September 2016, while attending Clear Creek High School, he met the love of his life, Angel Marie Miranda and on June 26, 2021, they were united in marriage. This was the happiest day of his young life surrounded by family and friends. Their union is blessed with a precious baby boy, Jedidiah James Rodgers, who is expected to be born October 30, 2021. Justice's second happiest day was when he learned he and Angel Marie were going to have a baby boy. He was so excited to be a father. He had become the type of man who constantly wanted to help his friends and family. He would offer a stranger the shirt off his back if they were in need. He was involved in the recovery community for the last six years of his life. If Justice loved you, you knew it. He will be tremendously missed by all who knew him.
On Friday, September 3, 2021, at the young age of 21, Justice James Rodgers lost his life suddenly and unexpectedly. He is preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Michael Rodgers and Kathy Byram; his maternal grandmothers, Kimberly Kannarr and Connie Strader, along with other family members. Justice leaves behind to cherish all good memories: his beloved wife, Angel Marie Rodgers; his legacy of love, their unborn son, Jedidiah James Rodgers; his loving parents, David H. Rodgers and Ashley L. Strader; sisters, Jordan (and her husband Chase) Dykowski and Jayleigh Rodgers; brother, Jonathan Rodgers; grandfather, Curtis Strader and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.
