Lashon Lynette Goodner Obituary (1968 - 2019)

LaShon Lynette Goodner 51, departed this life on August 24,2019, at UTMB in Galveston TX. LaShon was born January 29, 1968. She was a 1986 graduate of Ball High School where she was a Ball High Tornette. She worked for many years in food service until her health became a concern. LaShon was a longtime member of Compton Memorial COGIC. She loved to be in the house of the Lord any chance she got. She was a loving and caring person with a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Leola Goodner and Jessie Mae Walker (Leon) and father; James Goodner. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Paula Feast (Raymond); children, Johnathan Goodner, Darlneisha Goodner and Brittany Goodner; siblings, James Goodner and Ahmad Feast (Deanna), Jamellah Freeman (Derrick), Zakiyyah Feast-Myles and Amber Feast; grandchildren, King Johnathan Goodner, JhiE 1/4keith Goodner, Deja Coleman, Dejanay Coleman; devoted special friend, Theresa Carraway; devoted aunt, Paulette Williams; devoted cousins, Lisa McDaniel and Raquel Green; devoted sister-in-law, Erica Kinlaw and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to thank Dr. Khaliffe, Dr. Chatila, Dr. Hernanadez, UTMB CCU cardiology, Nephrology, Rheumatology and heart failure nurse, Bobby. A Memorial Service will be held 11 am on September 7, 2019 at Compton Memorial Church of God in Christ, 2628 Ball St. Galveston, TX 77550.
