Laura Ann Robinson

Laura Ann Robinson (Laura Chambers) was born on July 3, 1964, in Galveston, TX, to
Henrietta Thomas Chambers and Lester Joseph Chambers Sr.

Laura Ann accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She remained a faithful servant of Jesus Christ until her homegoing in February 2025.

She attended Ball High School and graduated in 1982. She later pursued higher education at Massey Business College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.
Laura Ann dedicated over 18 years of service as a Financial Counselor and Accounting Clerk III at U.T.M.B. Galveston.

She married Richard “BB” Robinson, with whom she built a loving family, welcoming two
daughters, Victoria Robinson (Fred) and Nicole Robinson Butler (Keenan Sr.).

A proud grandmother, Laura Ann cherished her grandchildren: Shamie, Richard, Ka’Nya,
Keenan Jr., Armond, Latroy, Kamaury, and Kaneile. She was also blessed with bonus
grandchildren, Emmanual, Brooklyn, and Akeem, as well as great-grandchildren, Ava, Kyree,
Skylar, Armani, Layla, and Samora.

Laura Ann was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her parents,
Henrietta and Lester Chambers, and her eldest brother, Ronald Lee Lewis.
She is survived by her older brother, Lester Chambers Jr. (Aleta), her daughters, her bonus
daughter Gernecia Markray, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her nephew Efram, and her beloved companion, Arthur Miles.

Laura Ann touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
