Luis Alonzo Garcia fallecio el 13 de junio de 2020. Nacido en El Salvador, era hijo de Alberto Garcia y Carmen Alonzo.
Le sobreviven sus nueve hijos, veinticuatro nietos, treinta y cuatro bisnietos y dos tataranietos.
Luis Garcia era un hombre, no un hombre perfecto, sino un hombre imperfecto que cometio muchos errores pero, sobre todo, amaba a sus hijos a su manera. Siempre se preocupaba por asegurarse de que sus nietos fueran guiados de maneras que no siempre un padre podia guiarlos. Era un hombre sabio e inteligente que sabia tantas cosas. Le encantaba dibujar y hacer crucigramas, que nunca dudo en compartir con sus nietos. Luis siempre andaba con su radio escuchando a su equipo de beisbol favorito, los Yankees de Nueva York. Siempre sera recordado por esos recuerdos y mas.
Los servicios funerarios para Luis se llevaran a cabo el sabado 18 de junio de 2020 en la capilla de los Directores de Funerales del Area de la Bahia, ubicada en 5410 FM 1765 en Texas City, Texas 77591. 409-933-4300. Una visita comenzara de las mediodia a las 2:00 p.m. Entierro tendra lugar en el cementerio Forest Park East, ubicada en 21620 Gulf Freeway en Webster, Texas 77598.
Luis Alonzo Garcia passed away on June 13, 2020. Born in El Salvador, he was the son of Alberto Garcia and Carmen Alonzo.
Luis is survived by his nine children, twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Luis Garcia was a man, not a perfect man, but an imperfect man who made many mistakes but, above all, loved his children in his own way. He was always concerned with making sure his grandchildren were guided in ways that a parent could not always guide them. He was a wise and intelligent man who knew so many things. He loved drawing and doing crossword puzzles, which he never hesitated to share with his grandchildren. Luis was always on his radio listening to his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees. You will always be remembered for those memories and more.
Funeral services for Luis will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the chapel of Bay Area Funeral Directors, located at 5410 FM 1765 in Texas City, Texas 77591. 409-933-4300. A visition will take place from noon to 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas 77598.
