Michael Earl Goodlow

Michael Earl Goodlow was born on October 1, 1959 to the union of the late Robert H. Kelly Jr. and Lola B. Goodlow. "Big Mike," as he was affectionately known, was born and raised in Galveston, Texas and entered eternal rest on October 4, 2023.

Michael Earl was a graduate of Ball High School in Galveston, Texas. After graduation, he joined his father's landscaping business. Later in life, Big Mike ventured out on his own and had a long career as a Security Guard until ill-health led to his retirement.

At an early age, Michael Earl accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and remained a faithful servant of God. Big Mike's love of Christ led him to serving as a minister of God's word and praising God through song. He traveled across the states preaching and walking in God's purpose for several decades.

As Big Mike entered eternal rest, he joined his mother, Lola B. Goodlow, father, Robert H. Kelly Jr., sisters, Denise Goodlow , Marilyn Kelly, brothers, James Kelly, Leroy Kelly, aunt, Marilyn Judge, and uncles, James Kelly and Stanford Sanders.

Time with family and friends was most important to Big Mike. His legacy lives on through his devoted wife, Sandra Hall-Goodlow, sisters, Vertie Bilbo, Teresa Kelly, brothers, Robert Kelly Jr. (Bridget Asante), Kerry Kelly (Tamika), Michael Gooby, adopted grandson, Deshaun Hall, nieces, Annesha Goodlow, Lisa Goodlow, Donniesha Spurlock, Destiny Spurlock, nephews, James Bilbo (Stephenne), Robert Bilbo (Demeka), and a host of other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. All will miss him dearly.
