Mohandas Jones Obituary (1972

Mr. Mohandas Jones affectionately known as "Ricky" was called to his Heavenly Home on July 28, 2023. He was born in Galveston, Tx and educated in the Galveston ISD at Ball High School class of 1991. He confessed his life to Christ at a young age, and was baptized at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church by the late Rev. E.L. Gates. Ricky was loved by many and never met a stranger, his huge Smile, his many Jokes and his Laughter would light up the whole room. He was "The Heart of a Servant". We will truly miss him. Preceding him in death Theodore Jones Sr. his son Isaiah Trevon Sweed, brother Theodore (Bubby) Jones, Aunt Shirley Jean Williams, and many more family members. He Leaves to cherished his memories Mother, Dorothy Scarlett, Bother, John Roland Jones, Two Sons, Five Daughters, Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of other Family Members and Friends. There will be a public visitation held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11am with a church service to begin at 1pm. Services will be held at Rising Star Baptist Church located at 302 N. Oak Street, Texas City, Texas 77591.
