Odis Williams, Jr. Obituary (1954 - 2017)

Odis Williams, Jr., 62, was born September 12, 1954 in La Marque, TX. He transitioned and went with the Lord on March 16, 2017 in Houston, TX. He was a member of Greater Barbour's Chapel Baptist Church. He attended school in the La Marque Independent School District. Mr. Williams was a respectful man who cared for everyone, especially his family. He dedicated his entire life to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed life dancing as well as being a distinguished gentleman, a gentleman with a touch of class. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by: his father, Odis Williams, Sr. and sisters, Odessa Haywood and Willie Vee Byrd. He is survived by: his children, Tonia Spikes, Lakeisha Waters (Pernell); grandchildren, Amber Spikes, Taja Porter, Tylee Spikes-McCardell, Mario Stafford, Kendall Cole and Kennady Lloyd; stepsons, Bennie Jordan III and Brian Jordan; fiance, Barbara Jordan; mother, Ella Mae Williams and sisters, Ora Fuller, Dorothy Mitchell, Josie Byrd and Luella Miller. There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 5:00 pm followed by the Celebration of His Life at 6:00 pm. Both services will be held at Bay Area Funeral Directors 5410 FM 1765 Texas City, TX 77591. In lieu of flowers, donations and condolences may be sent to the Funeral Home.
